Your privacy matters, and Cozyspace is built to respect it. This Privacy Policy explains what information Cozyspace does — and doesn't — collect when you use our website and services (the "Service"). The short version: Cozyspace keeps your focus data on your own device, and we collect as little as possible.

1. Data stays on your device

Cozyspace works without an account. Your tasks, notes, timer settings, and appearance preferences are saved in your browser's local storage — on your device, not on our servers. We can't read them, and they never leave your browser unless you export them yourself. Clearing your browser data or using private/incognito mode will remove this information.

2. Information we don't collect

We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't collect your name, email address, tasks, or notes. We don't sell your data, because we don't gather personal data to sell in the first place.

3. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the Service is used in aggregate — for example, how many people visit or which features are popular. Where used, this data is collected in a de-identified form and helps us improve Cozyspace. It is not used to identify you personally.

4. Cookies and local storage

Cozyspace uses your browser's local storage to remember your settings and session so the app feels the way you left it. Any cookies used are limited to keeping the Service working and, where applicable, basic analytics. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

5. Third-party services

Cozyspace embeds third-party content such as streaming music, videos, or ambient sounds. When you play that content, the provider (for example, a video or music platform) may set its own cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third-party services you interact with through Cozyspace. We are not responsible for their handling of your data.

6. Children's privacy

Cozyspace is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because your data lives in your browser, you're always in control. You can clear your Cozyspace data at any time by clearing your site data or local storage in your browser. Doing so will reset your tasks, notes, and preferences.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected here, so please check back occasionally.
